Non medical grade masks are recommended by Canada's Chief Public Health Officer in situations where social distancing is not always possible. We support this recommendation to continue to help flatten the Covid-19 curve in our province and country. Wearing a non medical grade mask in the community is recommended for periods of time when it is not possible to consistently maintain a 2-metre physical distance from others, particularly in crowded public settings, including:
- Stores
- Shopping areas
- Public transportation
